CamKids Latest Newsletter

We are pleased to report that our latest Newsletter is now available.

The July Newsletter includes news of the completion of the nursery at Kais Village Orphanage, with the assistance of members of the Royal Engineers and volunteers from the UK and Australia. We also have updates of our Farm project and Child Sponsorship programmes at Kais.

We also include an update on Rumdoul Thmei school, in Kampong Speu Province as well as other ongoing projects and reports of some of the fantastic fundraising work which our supporters have completed recently.

To access the Newsletter, you can either click on the image above, This Link or Contact Us and we will send you a copy by e-mail. If you sign up to our Newsletter Here, you will receive your copy by e-mail every 6 months (your details will not be used for commercial or any other purpose).

Thank you once again to all of our donors and supporters, without whom none of this would have been possible.

With Best Wishes

Northwest Vision and Media Sponsored Bike Ride to Paris

Last Thursday, 2 members of staff from Northwest Vision and Media completed a gruelling 3 day bike ride from London to Paris, to raise money for CamKids. This is one of the fundraising events which Northwest Vision and Media have organised during 2008, after selecting CamKids as their charity of the year. Here is Lynsey's report:

Here's the proof that Alice and I didn't just sneak off to do some shopping on the Champs-Élysées. We did three long days in the saddle, setting off from South London on Thursday morning and finally arriving at the Arc de Triomphe at 7:00pm on Saturday.

Thanks again for all your support and encouraging texts along the way and of course for your sponsor money. Our current total stands at £1,648 which is well over our original target and we still have a few last minute pledges to add. So all those aches and pains (and my new found addiction to ibuprofen) now seem worthwhile.

Thanks again!

Lynsey

Lynsey and Alice's total is now over £2,000, including Gift Aid - enough to educate 800 children at ETO school - a fantastic result. If you would like to add to Lynsey and Alice's sponsorship total, visit their JustGiving page:
